Job Description
FIFA26 is the organizing body for the FIFA World Cup 26, the upcoming global sporting event that promises to unite the world through football like never before. This groundbreaking edition of the FIFA World Cup, scheduled to be held in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, marks the first time the tournament will feature 48 teams competing across three host countries. This historic expansion introduces a new format that aims to redefine excellence in the world of international football, offering unique opportunities for fan engagement, player participation, and enhanced cultural exchange across North America and beyond. The event is structured to deliver an unforgettable experience that blends state-of-the-art stadiums, innovative fan engagement strategies, and seamless operational excellence.
FIFA26 is committed to bringing together diverse talents to plan and execute this extraordinary event, making it an attractive opportunity for professionals aspiring to be part of a global sporting revolution. The role of the Food and Beverage (F&B) Coordinator is pivotal, reporting organizationally to the Tournament Headquarters and the Food and Beverage Managers. This position focuses on ensuring the successful coordination and delivery of the F&B Concessions Program across the venues. The F&B Coordinator will manage all aspects related to food and beverage services, ensuring compliance with operational plans, coordinating between commercial partners, concessionaires, and FIFA’s central teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, customer service, and contract adherence.
Key attributes such as accountability, decision making, inclusivity, initiative, innovation, leadership, and visionary thinking are fundamental to the FIFA World Cup 26 skills framework, all of which are expected competencies for the F&B Coordinator role. This position requires a versatile, detail-oriented professional with a strong enthusiasm for catering operations at mega-events and a passion for delivering quality services under pressure. The coordinator will actively monitor match-day operations, conduct quality control assessments, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to the administrative functions supporting the tournament’s food and beverage program. The F&B Coordinator will also support the FIFA Partnerships objectives, ensuring brand exposure, product exclusivity, and operational effectiveness are realized in each venue.
This role offers a unique chance to be part of one of the most significant sporting events worldwide, with a competitive pay rate of $28 per hour based on California's labor standards, factoring in various relevant candidate qualifications and experience. FIFA26 is an equal opportunity employer with strong commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion, prohibiting discrimination on various legal bases. Joining FIFA26 as an F&B Coordinator means becoming part of a passionate, innovative team dedicated to excellence, teamwork, and the successful delivery of a historic and unparalleled sporting spectacle.
