Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
  • ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
  • actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
  • review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, align team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrate wins, and drive results that elevate the guest experience
  • lead the closing team to execute closing tasks and routines while maintaining great guest service through store closing hours
  • understand sales goals and plans, execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement including merchandising, pricing, salesfloor merchandise display changes, sampling, and promotions
  • with direct leader guidance, lead an effective Food & Beverage team focusing on closing processes
  • assess backroom and sales floor areas daily by walking F&B standards to prioritize business needs and identify closing priorities
  • establish clear goals and hold team members accountable
  • collaborate with store leadership team to influence sales performance and workload deliverables
  • maintain fresh, full, and food-safe areas during operating hours by leveraging inventory management, cleaning routines, and food safety policies
  • assign daily tasks to team members based on workload and guest traffic
  • validate and follow-up on team members’ progress against assigned workload tasks and routines
  • lead and demonstrate a culture of executing best practices learning and close skill gaps through development and coaching
  • lead team huddles to communicate evening focuses and trends
  • develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure brand standards are met and areas are well maintained
