The role primarily involves creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience through the preparation, presentation, and maintenance of complimentary breakfasts and/or evening receptions. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and stock levels across service and dining areas, engaging with guests to address their questions or concerns with professionalism and friendliness, and supporting various food service operations such as light food preparation, restocking, and bussing tables. Those with experience in restaurant, customer service, or cashier roles are preferred, offering a strong foundation for success. Certifications in Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness are required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment to ensure compliance and uphold Atrium Hospitality's standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic food handling knowledge or certification
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Must obtain Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications within 60 days if not already certified
  • Flexible availability across all required shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare, present, and maintain complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception
  • Keep buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment clean, stocked, and guest-ready
  • Greet guests with a friendly and helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns professionally
  • Assist in light food preparation, restocking, bussing tables, and supporting bar/service areas
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout the shift
  • Communicate key updates during shift changes and follow safety, security, and company policies
