The role of Food and Beverage Attendant at Round One Entertainment involves delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the operational needs of the Food and Beverage Department within a bustling entertainment venue. The successful candidate will operate point of sale (POS) registers to handle transactions for food, beverages, bowling lanes, and other entertainment services, ensuring smooth and efficient customer interactions. Responsibilities include preparing food and beverage items in accordance with company standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food court seating area, washing dishes and utensils, and managing inventory for food, beverage, plates, cups, and utensils according to store policies.

In addition to fulfilling duties related to food and beverage service, this role requires conducting opening and closing procedures such as managing cash tills and performing kitchen cleaning tasks. The attendant will also be tasked with maintaining proper temperature controls for refrigeration units, ensuring safety and hygiene standards throughout the work area. Customer interaction is a key component of this job, demanding a polite and responsive demeanor when addressing customer requests and facilitating payment processes. Occasionally, the attendant will be responsible for operating POS systems for arcade game cards and credits, as well as facility and equipment lending, including bowling, karaoke, billiards, darts, and ping pong.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old due to the handling of alcohol requirements and possess a High School Diploma or GED. While experience in entertainment or hospitality industries is preferred, it is not a strict requirement, as comprehensive training will be provided. Open availability is highly desired to accommodate store hours that range from 10 am to 2 am, including closing shifts and weekends.

The work environment is characterized by high energy and noise levels typical of a bowling center and arcade, requiring staff to be comfortable working in lively and sometimes noisy settings. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking during peak times, frequent bending, stretching, twisting, and a high degree of flexibility to navigate small and busy spaces. The position also involves occasional lifting or moving items up to 100 lbs with assistance.
