The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager role at Cherokee Town & Country Club is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. This hospitality management role plays a crucial part in maintaining the club's status as a premier venue by leading the Food and Beverage team with energy and precision. The Assistant Manager is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and supervising the staff to ensure seamless restaurant operations. They work closely with department heads and oversee the day-to-day functions of the club's food and beverage services, including managing performance and enforcing club policies. Additionally, the role involves hands-on management duties such as supporting front office operations, maintaining accurate sales and food cost records, planning training initiatives, and coordinating special projects.

A unique element of this position is the direct management of the Pool Snack Bar, overseeing recruitment and scheduling of seasonal personnel. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality, restaurant management, business, or a similar field
  • minimum of 2 years experience as a restaurant manager
  • experience with beverage program creation and management
  • knowledge of wine inventory systems
  • experience with craft cocktail creation and procurement
  • prior private club or fine dining experience preferred
  • servsafe and tips certification preferred
