Job Description
Tennessee National Golf Club, located in Loudon, Tennessee, is a premier gated lakefront community featuring a Greg Norman Signature Golf Course, marina, multiple restaurants and bars, racquet and recreation facilities, resort-style pool, concert venue, hiking trails, and a newly developed clubhouse. Just minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee National Golf Club is known for its exceptional hospitality, vibrant community, and dedication to providing memorable experiences for its members. The club is committed to fostering a supportive work environment that values a healthy work-life balance and offers growth opportunities within the hospitality industry.
Tennessee National Golf Club is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Food & Beverage and Private Events Manager to join our team. This full-time, hourly position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus the potential to earn event sales commissions. Full-time team members are also eligible for an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, a supportive team environment, and a balanced work-life atmosphere.
As the Food & Beverage and Private Events Manager, you will be an essential leader within the club’s hospitality operations, responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage service across all dining outlets. In addition, you will manage and coordinate private events from initial inquiry to final execution. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and who excels at balancing restaurant floor management with private event sales and operations. You will lead and develop front-of-house team members, assist with scheduling and staff accountability, and maintain high service standards in real time.
Your role will extend beyond operations management, as you will also be the primary point of contact for private event inquiries, responsible for conducting on-site consultations, creating proposals, managing bookings, and developing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in coordination with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef. You will serve as the day-of coordinator for private events, ensuring seamless setup, execution, and breakdown. The ability to build strong relationships with the membership base and local community to proactively cultivate event leads is highly valued.
This opportunity is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys both operational roles and event planning, with at least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or events. Experience in private clubs, resorts, or upscale hospitality settings, including expertise in BEO creation and execution and front-of-house team management, is preferred.
Joining Tennessee National Golf Club means becoming part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, growth, and delivering exceptional member experiences. This role reports directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and requires a responsible individual prepared to perform various duties in a safe and professional manner. If you are ready to take your hospitality career to the next level with a respected private club, Tennessee National Golf Club is eager to hear from you.
