Job Description

Round One Entertainment Inc. is a premier entertainment company specializing in providing a unique combination of video games, bowling, karaoke, billiards, darts, and arcade experiences. Established as a leader in the family entertainment industry, Round One offers a vibrant and fun environment where guests of all ages can enjoy a variety of recreational activities. Their venues are known for offering a clean, safe, and friendly atmosphere where exceptional customer service is prioritized, making it a favorite destination for social gatherings, celebrations, and casual outings. As a dynamic entertainment company, Round One continuously seeks passionate and outgoing individuals who thrive in engaging with customers and contributing to a lively, enjoyable setting.

This current role focuses on supporting the Food and Beverage Department while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, interactive entertainment environment. The position primarily requires operating the point-of-sale (POS) register for food, drinks, bowling, and other recreational facility usage. Employees will prepare food and beverage items according to company standards, maintain cleanliness of food court areas, and manage inventory across multiple departments. Responsibilities also include washing dishes and utensils, performing all necessary opening and closing procedures, and ensuring the proper handling, storage, and rotation of food and beverage stock.

Successful candidates will enhance the overall guest experience by responding promptly and courteously to customer needs with a friendly demeanor. This position demands flexibility, as working nights and weekends is often required to accommodate the busy hours typical in entertainment centers. Applicants must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol and have a high school diploma or GED to be eligible. Previous experience in hospitality or retail is beneficial, with familiarity in a bowling or entertainment setting considered an asset but not mandatory.

The work environment is lively and sometimes noisy, reflective of the active nature of entertainment centers. Employees should be physically capable of standing and walking for long periods and performing tasks that require bending, stretching, and lifting with assistance. Round One offers a supportive workplace where team members are encouraged to seek improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. With an emphasis on maintaining a clean and safe work area, this role integrates essential customer service duties alongside the behind-the-scenes operational tasks vital to the smooth running of the facility.

Round One Entertainment Inc. provides a fun and rewarding work atmosphere that includes unique employee benefits such as free gaming time, discounts on food, and complimentary beverages during shifts. This position represents an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about entertainment and hospitality to grow their skills in a dynamic and enjoyable environment. Those who thrive in social settings and enjoy contributing to guest experiences will find this role fulfilling and engaging, aligning professional growth with personal interests.
