We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front-of-House (FOH) Bar Manager to lead our front-of-house operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily restaurant and bar activities, managing staff, and ensuring outstanding customer experiences. The ideal candidate will serve as a leader and mentor to our servers, bartenders, and hosts, driving team performance and maintaining operational excellence. The FOH Bar Manager will be responsible for managing bar operations, including drink preparation, inventory control, and POS system management using tools such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. This role requires strong cash handling skills and integrity.

Training and staff development are crucial components of this position, as the manager will implement customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational procedures to ensure the highest standards. The manager will also monitor shift management to optimize staffing levels and service efficiency while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas to comply with all health regulations. With a background in hospitality management and effective communication skills, the successful candidate will ensure smooth service flow and create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hospitality management or relevant supervisory role
  • familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • strong cash handling and financial integrity
  • knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
  • ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multi-tasking
  • availability to work in person at the restaurant location

Job Qualifications

  • Proven management skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings
  • strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
  • excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
  • skilled in inventory control, food handling, budgeting, and food safety practices
  • leadership capabilities in staff training and development as well as team management
  • background in hospitality management with experience in casual dining or fine dining settings
  • experience with bar operations including barista or coffee experience is a plus
  • effective communication skills for interviewing candidates and managing staff shifts

Job Duties
