The Front of House Trainee (FOH-T) position at Genki Sushi USA is designed as an entry-level role aimed at new hires looking to build a foundational career in the restaurant and hospitality sector. Reporting directly to the Senior and Store Manager, this trainee role involves receiving clear, structured instructions focused on learning and mastering all front-of-house stations during a 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities include maintaining dining room cleanliness, ensuring sanitation standards, and providing attentive customer service to consistently satisfy guests. The trainee will rotate through various stations such as host, cashier, server, and refreshment attendant, gaining comprehensive operational knowledge. The role demands professionalism, calmness in managing customer concerns, and the ability to communicate effectively with management. Alongside performing essential daily duties, the FOH-T will also participate in team meetings, adhere to company policies, and comply with safety and health regulations.
This role typically requires working 4 to 6 hours per shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum weekly commitment of 35 hours. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing routine cleaning and equipment operation. Job Requirements
- Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
