The role of a Supervisor at Picazzo's is integral to supporting the daily functioning of the restaurant while contributing directly by managing a station such as serving or bartending. Job Requirements
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Must have self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing personality
- Must have pleasant, polite manner and neat and clean appearance
- Ability to motivate employees to work as a team
- Ability to handle pressures and recommend solutions to restaurant problems
- Good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks including food, beverage and labor cost while maintaining standards
- Ability to determine applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants
Job Qualifications
- A combination of practical experience and education
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Assist in supporting areas of the front of house restaurant and ensure a high level of guest service at the direction of the GM
- Deliver high quality service within own station
- Be a leader and an example in food and beverage knowledge and operational policies
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, cash drops, and personnel/timecard administrative duties
- Promote sanitary practices and monitor compliance with operational standards and regulations
- Ensure consistent high quality of service
- Respond to guest complaints and take appropriate actions
- Supervise shifts including decision-making, scheduling, and planning
- Provide direction to employees on operational and procedural issues
- Conduct orientation and assist in training and development of new employees
- Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and communicating performance expectations
- Maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness and appearance
- Complete accident reports promptly and communicate incidents to GM
- Keep GM fully informed of all issues and take corrective actions as necessary
