We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Front-of-House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy sports bar. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient front-of-house operations during peak hours, including high-traffic game nights and special events. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives under pressure, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through effective team leadership and operational management. This role involves managing opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The manager will lead recruitment, training, scheduling, and coaching for front-of-house staff to foster a positive and productive team culture while controlling labor costs. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with the General Manager to review financial performance, implement cost-control measures, monitor inventory, and oversee purchasing to maximize profitability without compromising quality. Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • Sports bar experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial and inventory management
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle cash management and inventory controls

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • Experience in a sports bar environment preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of financial and inventory management
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated capability to manage large events and game nights

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all FOH operations to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours
  • Manage opening and closing procedures including cash handling and inventory controls
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop FOH staff fostering a positive team culture
  • Create and maintain employee schedules balancing staffing needs and labor costs
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members
  • Build strong relationships with guests and address concerns promptly
