The establishment is committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment where team members are empowered to grow and advance within the company. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is recognized for its dedication to quality, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement, making it a preferred dining destination for guests and a great place to build a career.
The Service/Bar Manager plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the front of house, managing the appearance and atmosphere of the dining area, bar, and entrance to ensure a memorable guest experience. This leadership position requires the manager to oversee scheduling, team development, and effective communication with the General Manager to maintain smooth and efficient restaurant operations. The role is designed for someone with a passion for hospitality who thrives in a high-energy environment and who can inspire and lead a team to deliver outstanding service.
With limited supervision, the Service/Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards in food execution, guest relations, and the overall level of service. This includes maintaining a strong presence throughout the restaurant to engage with guests and team members actively. The manager supports the learning and development of hourly team members, organizes front of house schedules, and participates in recruiting efforts to sustain optimal staffing levels. Additionally, this position manages bar inventory and ordering, conducting bi-weekly inventory checks of wine, liquor, and beer collaboratively with the team.
Firebirds offers an excellent earning potential for this role, including attainable bonuses paid every other pay period, comprehensive training programs, and three weeks of paid time off annually. Team members also benefit from 401k plans with company matching, competitive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and opportunities for growth through new store openings. The restaurant values work-life balance, demonstrated by holiday closures on Christmas and Thanksgiving and early closing on Christmas Eve, ensuring team members enjoy meaningful time off with family and friends.
This position demands a candidate with a minimum of two years' experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant who is warm, passionate, and committed to the hospitality industry. Excellent communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, self-motivation, dependability, and professional appearance are essential qualities for success as a Service/Bar Manager at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
