This position focuses on the role of a Catering Delivery Driver within the team. It is an hourly wage role paying between $20 to $25 per hour, emphasizing both the operational and customer service aspects of catering delivery. The Catering Delivery Driver is key to maintaining the high standards of both front of house and back of house operations. This multifaceted role involves delivering food items safely and on time, coordinating with catering leads to ensure that orders are packed and organized according to schedule, and providing a positive customer service experience during delivery interactions. They handle delicate items carefully, perform routine stocking and inventory management, and support collaborative teamwork to ensure that the catering operations run smoothly. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to lift medium to heavy weights up to and over 50 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible hours within standard schedule 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to operate and maintain delivery vehicle
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending and stooping
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Clean driving record and active drivers license
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Ability to follow checklists and procedures to deliver food timely and provide customer service
  • Guest interaction with clear communication and representing the company brand
  • Hand wash delicate items ensuring cleaning and sanitation
  • Organize and store cleaned items efficiently
  • Follow a route and schedule to meet delivery deadlines
  • Work with catering leads to organize and pack food according to order schedule
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies
  • Maintain accurate stock records and expiration dates
  • Implement a FIFO system for product freshness
  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks
  • Assist in training new staff members
  • Keep surfaces, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized
  • Maintain delivery car cleanliness, fuel level, and attend to maintenance
  • Assist in routine cleaning for a hygienic environment
