We are currently seeking a hands-on, energetic Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our team and help us elevate our operations. This role is pivotal in managing daily cafe activities, overseeing retail market operations, and spearheading our vibrant event calendar. The ideal candidate should excel in team leadership, thrive in a collaborative setting, and possess a strong understanding of retail merchandising and inventory management.
As FOH Manager, you will split your time between leading the floor during busy shifts, managing inventory and vendor relations, and ensuring seamless coordination between the front of house, kitchen, and event teams. This position requires a proactive leader who can coach and motivate team members, handle customer feedback with professionalism and empathy, and uphold the health, safety, and sanitation standards necessary in our food service environment.
Beyond the everyday responsibilities, you will also take charge of event execution and programming, managing logistics for special events such as chef's dinners, cooking classes, fundraisers, wellness workshops, and arts and cultural gatherings. Your role will be central to delivering a smooth and engaging experience for our customers and community participants.

Job Requirements
- Experience in cafe, restaurant, or retail management
- Proficiency with Square POS
- Strong event execution skills
- Ability to collaborate with kitchen teams
- Leadership and team training experience
- Availability for weekends, early mornings, and evening events
- Food Handler or ServSafe Manager certification

Job Duties
- Hire, train, and schedule FOH staff and baristas
- Partner closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless daily food service
- Coach team members to deliver exceptional, community-minded customer service
- Lead by example during busy morning and weekend shifts
- Resolve customer feedback with empathy and professionalism
- Manage FOH operations for a diverse range of special events
- Coordinate logistics for chef's dinners, cooking classes, and fundraisers
- Support programming for wellness workshops and arts and cultural gatherings
- Oversee the setup, execution, breakdown, and staffing for all events
- Utilize Square POS to manage daily sales, tracking, and basic reporting
- Stock and visually merchandise retail market shelves
- Track inventory levels for both the coffee bar and retail goods
- Place orders with vendors and handle cash drawer reconciliations
- Enforce health, safety, and food sanitation guidelines
