Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years customer service experience
- call center experience preferred
- 2 years clinical food service experience
- demonstrated ability to assess and interpret age-appropriate patient information
- bilingual Spanish and English a great asset
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years customer service experience including cashiering, telephone sales, office management, sales clerk roles, operator, tray aide, hostess/host, call center, medical assistant, deli, pizza station experience, order taking
- call center experience preferred
- 2 years clinical food service experience
- diet technician program a plus
- ability to interpret age-appropriate patient data
Job Duties
- perform duties and functions in the diet office according to departmental policies and procedures
- maintain current records of patient diet orders
- take patient calls for room service and guide them through menu choices in accordance with their diets
- process room service customer orders including patient and family-initiated orders
- assist patients needing help with ordering
- assess and interpret age-appropriate data about patient status to identify dietary needs
- provide guidance and support to patients adhering to their prescribed diets
