Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 1+ year of experience as a mixologist or related role
- Flexible working hours availability including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to present information effectively to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Strong mathematical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Must qualify for federal, state, and local licenses and permits
- Must be able to earn and maintain gaming license
- Must be able to earn and maintain TiPS certification
- Must be able to earn and maintain Food Handlers certification
- Must be able to earn and maintain RBS certification within 30 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience as a mixologist or related role
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions confidently
- Strong mathematical skills including ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically
- Ability to qualify for and maintain necessary licenses and permits including gaming license
- Ability to earn and maintain TiPS, Food Handlers, and RBS certifications within specified timeframes
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a warm, professional demeanor
- Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Engage with guests to provide tailored recommendations
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized, memorable experiences
- Uphold AAA Four Diamond service standards ensuring courteous, polished, and attentive interactions
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain an immaculate and organized bar area ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels, restock as necessary and communicate shortages to management
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer including preparation techniques and pairings
- Create specialty cocktails and assist with menu development to align with the hotel's luxury brand
- Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative elements into the bar program
- Consistently maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards
- Deliver polished, seamless service reflecting the luxury and sophistication of the property
- Exhibit impeccable attention to detail from drink presentation to guest interaction
- Work closely with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with special events, private functions, and promotional activities
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing expertise
- Perform other duties as necessary
