The Floor Technician position is an hourly role with a competitive wage range of $12 to $15 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays, during the morning to early afternoon shift from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the entire senior living community, ensuring that floors and common areas are pristine and well-maintained. Under the general direction of the Environmental Services Director, the Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and vacuuming all types of floors throughout the facility as outlined in daily task sheets and as assigned by supervisors. This includes vacuuming carpets, buffing and waxing tile floors, and shampooing carpets and furniture in resident apartments and offices.

The successful candidate for this position will be an integral part of the Environmental Services team, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position demands attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to follow instructions carefully. The Floor Tech must be capable of maintaining equipment and supplies, assisting in training new team members, and participating in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
