As a Flooring Technician, your responsibilities will include comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of buildings and facilities with a particular focus on floors. This involves following strict procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to flooring and fixtures, ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. You will be required to communicate effectively with management and coworkers, report necessary repairs, and maintain overall cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, moving furniture, and servicing restrooms. There are additional seasonal duties such as leaf raking, snow removal, and grass cutting, making this position dynamic and engaging throughout the year.

This role does not require prior experience, as ABM provides thorough on-the-job training to help you succeed. No formal education such as a high school diploma or GED is mandatory, although customer service experience and some previous work in similar roles are preferred.
