The role of Floor Technician at Sodexo, based at the Jackson North Medical Center, is a vital position focused on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within healthcare settings. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors by utilizing specialized floor care techniques and equipment to care for hard-surface and carpeted floors. Employees in this role are responsible for a variety of duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, polishing, scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing floors using heavy machinery, alongside vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets. The job may also involve maintaining walls, baseboards, and cove base molding, cleaning furniture, emptying trash and linen containers, and supporting general sanitation efforts that contribute to a clean and healthy environment.

This position offers flexible scheduling options that can accommodate either full-time or part-time employment, with shifts varying and open availability preferred to meet the operational needs of the facility. The pay range for this role is $17.45 to $118.45 per hour, offering competitive compensation and recognition for the specialized skills involved.
