As a Floor Tech at HCSG, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of floors in a long-term care setting. This role is crucial to ensuring a sanitary environment that contributes to the overall health and comfort of residents, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive floor care tasks such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors across resident rooms, common areas, and offices. You will follow strict infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a hygienic environment in line with healthcare regulations. This position demands physical stamina to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds and to perform repetitive tasks while standing, sitting, bending, or walking for extended periods. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies and residency within the service area are also necessary.
