Job Description
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a leading provider in the healthcare environmental services industry, committed to enhancing the well-being and comfort of residents and patients in long-term care facilities. With a passionate focus on positively impacting the communities we serve, HCSG specializes in tailored housekeeping, environmental, and dining services that promote healthier environments. As a recognized industry leader, HCSG upholds high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction, supporting healthcare providers with dedicated teams that elevate the quality of care through superior service delivery.
As a Floor Tech at HCSG, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of floors in a long-term care setting. This role is crucial to ensuring a sanitary environment that contributes to the overall health and comfort of residents, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive floor care tasks such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors across resident rooms, common areas, and offices. Operating floor care equipment safely and efficiently is a key aspect of your duties, along with maintaining detailed records of floor care activities and promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
In addition to technical competencies, this role requires a positive attitude and strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service that aligns with HCSG's commitment to excellence. You will follow strict infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a hygienic environment in line with healthcare regulations. This position demands physical stamina to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds and to perform repetitive tasks while standing, sitting, bending, or walking for extended periods. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies and residency within the service area are also necessary.
HCSG provides a supportive and career-focused environment, including hands-on training, career development opportunities, and comprehensive employee benefits such as free telemedicine, prescription discount programs, and financial wellness support. This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute to a clean, welcoming healthcare environment while advancing their professional growth within a respected organization. By joining HCSG as a Floor Tech, you will be part of a culturally inclusive team dedicated to making a meaningful difference every day.
