This particular role is for a Floor Tech based in Wilmington, IL, offering an hourly wage of $17.50. The position follows a night shift schedule from 6:30 pm to 5 am, either Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Sunday, depending on candidate availability. The Floor Tech will be an essential part of the facility services team, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of carpet and hard surface floors. The role requires hands-on experience with a variety of floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, burnishers, and vacuums. The Floor Tech will be tasked with executing scheduled cleaning routines, including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing various floor surfaces. Maintaining floor quality and appearance in high-traffic areas is critical, requiring regular inspection for wear or damage, and performing spot treatments or necessary repairs. This position also includes responsibilities related to special event setups, ensuring that floors are properly protected and cleaned before and after events.
