Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in restaurant or related field
  • Food handler certification desired
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in loud and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Job Duties

  • Report for duty on time and use time clock to check in and out
  • Manage time including taking breaks in compliance with labor laws
  • Maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene
  • Know menu dishes and ingredients
  • Follow health, safety, alcohol control and sanitation protocols
  • Build rapport with guests including regulars
  • Organize, clean, and maintain all areas of service
  • Prepare floor at opening and closing of shifts
  • Clear dishes and glassware from tables properly
  • Polish and restock glassware and cutlery
  • Assist bartender with stocking and fulfilling orders
  • Accurately run food and drinks to tables
  • Attend to guest needs
  • Communicate clearly with expo and managers
  • Understand floorplan, table numbers, and seat positions
  • Attend mandatory trainings and pre-shift meetings
  • Support management with in-house service and events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
