This system is Colorado's primary safety-net health care provider, delivering millions of dollars in uncompensated care annually for the uninsured. Located near downtown Denver, this establishment enjoys proximity to a wide array of cultural and recreational opportunities, fostering a vibrant work environment enriched by a diverse community. Denver Health upholds core values of respect, belonging, accountability, and transparency, providing a mission-driven workplace committed to the well-being of both patients and staff. It is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to valuing the unique talents and contributions of its team members and the communities it serves.
The Floor Supervisor, Kitchen role at Denver Health's ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders is a dynamic and mission-critical position. This unique unit specializes in treating patients with acute medical complications stemming from severe eating disorders and malnutrition. The 30-bed unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, augmented by one-to-one care from CNAs and behavioral healthcare technicians to address both medical and behavioral health needs. This role involves significant leadership duties, such as recruiting, training, performance management, and fostering a positive, supportive workplace that aligns with the center's mission. The Kitchen Supervisor also collaborates closely with the Nutrition Services Manager, coordinating menu development and nutrition programs tailored to the specialized patient population. The role requires compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards, as well as ongoing participation in performance improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance. This position offers a regular work schedule with a competitive pay range of $23.54 to $32.96 per hour and numerous benefits designed to support employees' personal and professional growth.
