The company seeks to hire dedicated Floor Staff members who play a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding experience for every visitor. Floor Staff at Regal are considered the face of the organization, directly interacting with guests and providing assistance in various capacities. These team members may work in multiple theater areas including the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as Ushers, depending on the specific needs of each location and employee availability. Depending on the theater's requirements, employees can be classified as variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly staff.

The Floor Staff’s primary responsibility revolves around delivering excellent guest service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering to company policies and standards. Their duties include managing ticket sales at the box office with accuracy, handling cash and electronic payments, promoting the Regal Crown Club loyalty program, and ensuring compliance with the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rating system. In the concession area, team members operate point-of-sale systems, manage inventory, prepare and maintain food service equipment, and comply with local and federal food safety regulations.

Ushers are tasked with managing crowd control, assisting guests to their seats, inspecting bags when required, and maintaining theater cleanliness. They also monitor auditorium conditions to ensure picture and sound quality, report any irregularities, and support concession sales during shows. The role demands reliable attendance, adherence to a professional dress code, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Job Requirements

  • Completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
  • Legal age for serving or selling alcohol if applicable
  • Completion of state or local alcohol training if assigned to sell or serve alcohol
  • Ability to operate POS systems accurately
  • Good communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and maintain consistent attendance
  • Physical ability to stand walk sit use hands reach climb balance stoop kneel crouch crawl and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Vision including close distance peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of cast certification program as cast member and box office cashier or progress towards completion
  • If assigned to sell or serve alcohol legal age to do so and completion of required state or local training
  • Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Effective listening and clear direct response
  • Ability to perform accurate calculations and error correction
  • Strong reasoning skills to identify problems gather data evaluate alternatives and take action
  • Excellent communication skills with customers coworkers and management
  • Ability to establish goals budget time and set priorities

Job Duties

  • Operating POS system including handling and responsibility for cash drawer accuracy credit cards travelers checks gift cards redeemed discount tickets passes and coupons
  • Up selling and suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience such as 3D RPX IMAX
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Ensuring tickets are sold according to MPAA rating system and company policy
  • Responding to guest phone calls and questions consistent with guest service philosophy
  • Operating concession equipment preparing and cleaning concession related items
  • Complying with local state and federal food safety laws
  • Tearing tickets collecting and depositing stubs directing patrons to auditoriums
  • Managing crowd control inspecting backpacks and packages
  • Conducting in theatre inspections monitoring picture sound quality and theft prevention
  • Cleaning auditoriums restrooms lobby and other areas
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned by management
