Troon is known for its hospitality-driven approach, managing over 900 locations across more than 45 states and 27 countries. The company values an energetic, kind, and prosperous workplace culture, providing its employees with ample opportunities for career development and growth within the hospitality industry.
The Floor Manager role at Esplanade Madeira Ranch is pivotal, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage program within Elk Grove's premier 55+ resort-style community. This position serves as a hands-on leadership role, vital to ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests across the restaurant and bar services. The Floor Manager will lead the team to uphold high service standards, facilitate ongoing staff training and development, and contribute actively to menu and beverage programming. Beyond managing inventory and orders, this role includes collaborating with vendors and supporting the execution of events and catering functions.
This full-time, benefits-eligible role offers competitive compensation, ranging from $72,000 to $75,000 annually. Work-life balance is emphasized with a consistent schedule and no late-night shifts, although weekend availability is necessary to meet community needs. The Floor Manager is expected to dedicate over half of each working day to managerial and supervisory responsibilities, maintaining a presence on the dining floor to engage with guests actively and ensure quality service delivery. This position also involves working closely with leadership teams to align operational goals and foster a welcoming and hospitality-driven environment. Additionally, responsibilities extend to facility inspections, inventory management using advanced software tools, and adherence to sanitation standards.
The role demands strong leadership and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a profound commitment to member satisfaction and team development. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu design, product pricing, and financial accountability within a hospitality setting. Familiarity with wine, spirits, regional cuisines, and best practices in inventory management will be advantageous. The Floor Manager plays a critical role in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, ensuring not only operational excellence but also the creation of a work culture that values teamwork and professional growth.
Esplanade Madeira Ranch is committed to providing a safe, organized, and customer-oriented venue where relationships with members remain central to the overall experience. This is an opportunity to join a trusted brand within a respected company, delivering outstanding hospitality services in a vibrant community setting.
