The position of Floor Manager at the Amex Centurion Lounge in Miami International Airport (MIA) is a pivotal role within Flik Hospitality Group. This role is designed for an individual who embodies a passion for food, hospitality, and superior service management. The Floor Manager will oversee the food service operations at the Amex Centurion Lounge, ensuring that every element from service to sanitation meets the organization's high standards. This includes supervising and training staff, managing the cafe's financial performance, and executing marketing and promotional events that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth. The position is full-time and offers an hourly wage of $29 to $30, reflecting Flik’s commitment to competitive compensation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in food service operations
  • Knowledge of cash handling and food service equipment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care or related fields
  • Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
  • Proficient in computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Hire, supervise, train, and coach associates
  • Plan, market and execute special events and promotions in the cafe
  • Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
  • Operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the business
