Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum six months hotel housekeeping experience required
- Must possess effective communication and organizational skills
- Must hold a Level 4 Gaming License
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
- Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in small group settings
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning
- Regular physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and occasionally reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regular ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work in a moderately noisy and smoky casino environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree preferred
- Minimum of six months prior hotel housekeeping experience required
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals
- Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations
Job Duties
- Inspect each assigned guest room prior to occupancy to ensure cleanliness and appearance
- Maintain records of cleaned and approved rooms as well as those needing further cleaning
- Guide and support Room Attendants and Porters in their daily responsibilities
- Monitor computer system to track room vacancies for cleaning and maintenance purposes
- Take responsibility for the security of the Pass Key during assigned shifts
- Maintain adequate supply of linens, cleaning chemicals, and amenities, reorder and restock as necessary
- Properly tag lost and found items and coordinate with security for pick-up
- Offer suggestions and recommendations to improve productivity and cost-efficiency
