Shaner Hotels currently has an exciting opportunity at their 130-room Philadelphia / Ridley Park Springhill Suites, a conveniently located hotel near the Philadelphia International Airport. This property features amenities such as a 24-hour shuttle service, indoor pool, indoor bar, and complimentary breakfast, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests. The position available focuses on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in the hotel's public areas.

The role involves cleaning hotel public areas according to established cleanliness standards, ensuring that all assignments uphold the quality and safety procedures of Shaner Hotels. This position requires handling guest complaints efficiently to maintain guest satisfaction and reporting any maintenance deficiencies that may arise. The individual will need to observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security protocols to ensure the environment is safe and welcoming. Additional responsibilities include completing deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning tasks as scheduled and ensuring the return and restocking of cleaning carts at the end of shifts. This dynamic role plays an essential part in the overall guest experience by keeping the hotel environment immaculate and compliant with franchise and hotel standards.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least one year of cleaning experience, preferably within the hospitality industry, who possess excellent communication skills and knowledge of proper chemical handling. Job Requirements

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
  • Minimum one year cleaning experience previous hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests management and co-workers to their understanding
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
