The role of a Floor Host at Sports Club LA - Equinox Fitness Clubs is an exciting opportunity for energetic and passionate individuals committed to delivering outstanding customer service in a dynamic fitness environment. Reporting directly to the Personal Trainer Manager and Fitness Manager, the Floor Host plays a crucial role in enhancing member experience by maintaining an impeccable and welcoming atmosphere on the fitness floor. Floor Hosts are responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment by greeting members warmly, ensuring the fitness floor is always organized and equipment is properly placed, and facilitating member participation in special events and promotional activities. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or fitness environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and maintain an organized fitness floor
- Legal right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Understanding of principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique
- Excellent people and relationship building skills
- High attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and willingness to learn

Job Duties
- Provide five-star customer service to all members through greeting and member engagement
- Maintaining a camera ready fitness floor – organized and free from clutter and returning equipment to its proper place
- Ensure equipment is in the correct place within the club floor
- Member engagement: towel distribution to members every 30 minutes in cardio, weight and stretch areas
- Engaging members to the Floor Trainer Special Events
- Attend monthly forum and personal trainer workshops
