Floor Care Technician (EVS Tech)

The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician role under the direction of the Supervisor Environmental Services is an essential part of maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. This role specializes in executing detailed and technical environmental services, utilizing a deep knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques to carry out assigned projects effectively. Certified and trained in the safe and proper use of all EVS equipment, the technician handles tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, high elevation cleaning, and sanitation of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Responsibilities also include maintaining air vents, light fixtures, and other high décor free of dust and debris, ensuring a safe and pristine environment. The technician plays a vital role in promoting brand loyalty by providing exceptional customer service, interacting positively with guests and fellow team members, and ensuring chemical safety by adhering to Safety Data Sheets and manufacturer instructions. This position demands physical stamina, keen attention to detail, and the ability to operate various cleaning machinery safely. The work environment is predominantly facility-based with occasional travel for meetings, trade shows, or conferences. Shift flexibility is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
