The role at hand is for a Floor Care Technician within BayCare's FSED Lab at Brandon Regional Medical Center (BRMC) located in Lakeland, FL. This is a full-time position working the 11:00 pm to 7:30 am shift, including every other weekend, with no on-call responsibilities. The Floor Care Technician is a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment essential to patient care and operational excellence. The position involves performing detailed floor care and specialized cleaning tasks in both patient and non-patient areas following strict hospital standards, safety guidelines, and infection prevention protocols. The role requires prompt response to spills and environmental service needs, as well as assistance with moving and setting up furniture for patient care areas, meetings, and special events.

Additionally, the technician will be responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment, furniture, and supplies, ensuring they are ready for use and helping to support cost-effective operations through the proper handling and care of resources.
