Job Requirements

High school diploma
1-2 years of relevant work experience
basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
ability to travel between multiple locations
corrected hearing and vision
physical ability to perform duties requiring bending, lifting, and standing
ability to handle stressful patient encounters
willingness to comply with occupational safety protocols
bilingual Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma
basic life support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
1-2 years of relevant work experience
bilingual Spanish preferred
knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and procedures
ability to manage patient interactions professionally
familiarity with HIPAA regulations
strong manual dexterity and physical stamina

Job Duties

Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes
perform visual testing
conduct ocular coherence tomography (OCT)
execute corneal topography
operate IOL Master and Lenstar devices
perform basic IOL calculations
conduct pachymetry
perform specular microscopy (ECC)
take basic fundus photography
capture external photography for ocular plastics and eye muscle documentation
prepare, clean, and maintain exam rooms
ensure overall cleanliness of diagnostic rooms
report equipment issues to Director
comply with HIPAA regulations
participate in continuing education and professional development
perform other duties as assigned
