This position involves managing multiple properties by traveling nationwide to both distressed and open-position assets where expert leadership is needed. The Floating Community Manager is tasked with ensuring these communities achieve and maintain target occupancy levels, maximize cash flow, and uphold TAM Residential's high standards for marketing, leasing, accounting, maintenance, resident relations, and reporting. This role demands a well-rounded leader who can effectively hire, train, motivate, supervise, and discipline on-site teams, including assistant managers, leasing personnel, maintenance staff, and additional employees. They play a key role in maintaining the health and success of each property by providing professional management and supporting team development to meet the company’s policies and client expectations. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years property management and supervisory experience
  • Entrata PMS experience preferred
  • Tax credit experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage leasing staff and lease apartments
  • Basic accounting skills and understanding of financial reports
  • Ability to make independent decisions and handle emergency situations professionally
  • Must have own transportation
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Current liability vehicle insurance
  • Ability to travel up to 75 percent of the time
  • Ability to work from multiple locations
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry up to 15 pounds
  • Must have up-close and distance vision
