The Club Leader Floater at Woodcraft Rangers represents a dynamic part-time role designed to provide flexible and adaptive support across various sites within the Moreno Valley Unified School District. This position offers an hourly pay range between $20.50 and $24.15 for 10-25 hours per week, with schedules that may vary by location and include evenings, weekends, and attending mandatory trainings. Reporting to the Site Coordinator, the Club Leader Floater's primary responsibility is to fill in coverage gaps as needed by assuming Club Leader duties when regular staff are absent or when enrollment numbers fluctuate. This critical function ensures continuity and stability of programming while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

In this role, the Club Leader Floater has a tremendous opportunity to impact the lives of approximately 20 children per club by creating an inclusive, fun, and safe atmosphere that nurtures both physical and emotional wellbeing. The work involves developing and leading age-appropriate activities that align with Woodcraft Rangers’ holistic approach to youth development. Flexibility in scheduling is essential since the role demands availability for short-notice assignments and adaptability to varying program sites within the assigned region. The Club Leader Floater is expected to collaborate closely with the Site Coordinator and Community Liaison, maintaining accurate attendance records, complying with all safety and emergency protocols, and participating in required staff development trainings totaling approximately 15 hours.
