Their integrated care teams comprise physicians, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals, collectively committed to offering comprehensive and compassionate care that improves health outcomes. With an approach that extends beyond physical health to address emotional and social wellness, CenterWell represents a leading force in senior-focused primary care, home healthcare, pharmacy services, and more. The company takes pride in fostering a supportive work environment, offering competitive compensation, and encouraging continuous growth in employee well-being and professional development.
The Medical Receptionist position at CenterWell Senior Primary Care is a dynamic and essential role responsible for managing the front desk operations within their medical clinics located in Augusta, GA, and North Augusta, SC. As a Float position, the Medical Receptionist is expected to provide seamless coverage across both facilities as needed, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The role centers around greeting patients warmly, scheduling and managing appointments efficiently, handling patient inquiries professionally, and maintaining accurate patient records with utmost confidentiality. Since the Medical Receptionist often serves as the initial point of contact for patients, exceptional customer service skills, and a welcoming demeanor are pivotal.
In addition to administrative duties, the Medical Receptionist supports billing and payment processes, including collecting copays and ensuring that patient accounts are up to date. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is integral for accurate record-keeping and smooth communication within the medical team. The position also encompasses maintaining an organized, tidy, and sanitized reception area, while assisting with other office management responsibilities such as inventory control and supply ordering.
This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $38,000 to $45,800, with the potential for performance-based bonuses. Employment with CenterWell comes with a comprehensive benefits package that supports whole-person wellness, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and other valuable perks. The Medical Receptionist role is patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis screening program, necessitating health compliance screenings as part of employment.
CenterWell Senior Primary Care values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer committed to non-discriminatory hiring practices. The organization fosters an inclusive environment where employees with disabilities and protected veteran status receive affirmative action for recruitment and career advancement. If you are passionate about contributing to a patient-centric healthcare environment and have exceptional customer service skills, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact senior health care positively.
