Job Description

Heritage Federal Credit Union is a well-established, nonprofit financial institution with over $1 billion in assets and a strong member base exceeding 65,000 individuals. Serving a wide geographic area across counties in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois, Heritage Federal Credit Union is dedicated to providing low-cost, high-quality financial services tailored to meet the needs of its diverse community. Founded in 1965, the credit union upholds a mission-driven culture focused on improving the daily lives of its members and actively giving back to the local communities it serves through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer opportunities. Its commitment to member satisfaction and community involvement makes Heritage Federal Credit Union a trusted financial partner for individuals and families spread across various counties in three states.

The Float Concierge Banker role at Heritage Federal Credit Union is a dynamic position designed to enhance member service and operational efficiency across multiple branch locations and the Virtual Banking Center (VBC). This full-time position begins with a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.80 and involves flexible scheduling, including weekday shifts that vary by location, mandatory Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and rotating Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Flexibility in both schedule and physical location is essential, as this position supports members through various communication channels such as video, phone, chat, and in-person interactions, ensuring consistent service availability and coverage based on business needs.

The Float Concierge Banker plays a critical role in member engagement by assisting with routine transactions, processing account updates, and addressing inquiries related to credit union products and services. Responsibilities also include opening new membership accounts, facilitating wire transfers, stop payments, and check orders, and offering knowledgeable referrals to Senior and Relationship Bankers when more specialized assistance is needed. This role requires maintaining a strong understanding of Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) functionality and staying current with credit union products, services, and procedures. Additional responsibilities involve travel between multiple branch locations to provide support and service where demand is highest, with an extra stipend provided for this travel component.

Overall, the Float Concierge Banker is pivotal in ensuring a seamless, multi-channel banking experience for Heritage Federal Credit Union members, blending traditional in-branch support with virtual services to meet evolving member needs. This position offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and finance to contribute to a mission-driven organization that prioritizes community impact and member satisfaction.
