Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older at time of application
- Must be a high school graduate or possess GED, 2 or more years of college preferred
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in service industry
- Must have clear, concise, and loud verbal communication
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- Must be able to hear all types and ranges of sound
- Ability to effectively communicate in emergencies
- Maintain professional appearance following uniform, grooming, tattoo, and piercing policies
- Ability to proficiently operate phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices
- Possess a valid passport with at least 18 months before expiration
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, lift heavy objects, and operate equipment
- Ability to pass a functional reach assessment
- Ability to sit in assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness
- Must complete DOT drug screening and background checks
- Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass a 10-year background check without travel restrictions
- Meet FAA hearing and vision requirements including corrected vision at 20/40 or better and hearing loss not exceeding specified dB levels
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older at time of application
- High school graduate or GED
- At least one year of customer service experience in industries such as retail, hospitality, food service, education, or aviation
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- Clear and organized verbal communication suitable for emergency situations
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to speak Hebrew fluently is preferred
- Ability to proficiently use electronic devices for job tasks
- Valid U.S. or foreign passport with at least 18 months of remaining validity
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule supporting 24/7 operations
Job Duties
- Ensure the highest levels of safety
- Adapt and respond to various customer-facing scenarios with optimism
- Provide outstanding customer service through interpersonal skills and good judgment
- Represent United Airlines with pride and professionalism
- Be available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Fulfill reserve assignments on short notice and commit to travel away from base
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the team
