Job Requirements
- Meet the minimum age to drive in your city
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the US (three years if under 25 years old)
- Use an eligible 4-door vehicle
- Consent to driver screening and background check
- Have an iPhone or Android smartphone
- Vehicle requirements vary by region
- Provide a valid US driver’s license
- Provide proof of residency in your city, state, or province
- Provide proof of vehicle insurance if driving your own vehicle
Job Qualifications
- Valid US driver’s license
- At least one year of driving experience in the US (three years if under 25)
- Ownership or access to an eligible 4-door vehicle
- Smartphone with internet access (iPhone or Android)
- Ability to pass Uber’s background screening
- Basic communication skills
- Familiarity with city streets and navigation apps
Job Duties
- Accept ride requests through the Uber app
- Provide safe and courteous transportation to riders
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
- Navigate efficiently to passenger pickup and drop-off locations
- Manage earnings and cash out through Instant Pay
- Comply with Uber’s driver policies and local regulations
- Communicate effectively with riders and Uber support
