Job Description
Penske Logistics is a global leader in transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions, serving some of the world's top market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics employs cutting-edge technology and innovative strategies to optimize supply chains and reduce costs, empowering businesses to achieve superior operational efficiency. As part of a stable, nationwide company known for its exceptional equipment, comprehensive training programs, and commitment to safety, associates enjoy a dynamic work environment supported by experienced management and a culture that values professionalism and customer service.
This opportunity is for Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers who are ready to advance their careers with industry-leading benefits and competitive pay. Truck drivers at Penske Logistics are not just operators; they are critical members of the service delivery team entrusted with ensuring multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to dealerships. The role demands regional travel, sometimes up to 100 percent, with assignments that can last from one to three weeks away from home, depending on location. Drivers operate late-model, well-maintained Penske trucks equipped with best-in-class ergonomic and safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, contributing to a secure driving experience.
The position involves responsibilities beyond driving, such as unloading cargo using various manual equipment like pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and utilizing scanners to track inventory accurately. Dispatch schedules are flexible according to business needs, making adaptability and schedule management key traits for success in this role. Penske values safe driving and dedication, offering a supportive environment through comprehensive benefits packages that include paid vacation and holidays starting day one, retirement benefits, medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with disability and life insurance options. Employees also benefit from uniform and safety footwear provisions, employee discounts, referral bonuses, and safety incentive programs designed to reward excellence.
Joining Penske means joining a team of professional drivers dedicated to upholding the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence. Drivers represent both Penske and their clients, often operating client-branded trucks and wearing uniforms that signify trust and professionalism. The company offers robust career growth opportunities, including ongoing training and the potential to transition across different locations nationwide. Weekly pay ensures financial reliability for associates. Penske Logistics is an equal opportunity employer committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in its workforce, ensuring that all employees work in a respectful and inclusive environment. If you are ready to fuel your trucking career with a respected industry leader and enjoy a rewarding, secure career path, this is the opportunity for you.
