Successful candidates can expect an average annual salary of $100,000, with additional incentives such as a driver referral bonus program offering up to $5,000 per referral. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A CDL
- recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- ability to pass DOT medical exam
- clean driving record
- English proficiency
- successful background investigation
- drug screening clearance
- ability to work varied schedules and travel extensively
- physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and repeatedly enter and exit vehicle and cargo area
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL
- domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- current or ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- ability to comply with federal safety regulations
- ability to complete background check and drug screening
- capacity to maintain constant alertness and safe working practices under DOT regulations
Job Duties
- travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
- perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- drive late model, Penske-maintained trucks with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety
- comply with varying dispatch times depending on work assignment
- maintain safety standards including use of inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras
