Job Description

Penske Logistics is a premier provider of transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions, known for engineering state-of-the-art systems that deliver powerful business results to market-leading companies worldwide. Operating across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics continually drives the supply chain forward by increasing visibility and reducing costs for its customers. The company is committed to supporting its workforce through a stable and professional work environment, offering excellent management, superior equipment, and comprehensive benefits. The primary location for this opportunity is in Schertz, Texas, at 21455 FM 2252. Penske Logistics offers employment as a full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver with an advertised annual salary that averages $90,000, reflecting the company's dedication to competitive compensation.

This full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver role at Penske Logistics is designed for professional truck drivers who are ready to elevate their careers while contributing to the safe and timely delivery of construction materials and related freight. The position demands up to 100 percent travel, often requiring drivers to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment. Drivers will transport flatbed loads such as brick and stone materials to multiple stops, efficiently unloading trailers using a Moffit forklift, and scanning products to ensure accurate delivery tracking.

Throughout their assignments, drivers will work with late-model, Penske-maintained trucks that are specifically designed for driver comfort and safety. These vehicles come equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to support a safe work environment. The dispatch schedule varies depending on the assignment, and drivers will be stationed at their assigned location during their respective work periods. This position is not only about transportation but also represents being an ambassador of the Penske brand and its clients by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships.

In addition to a rewarding operational role, Penske Logistics boasts a comprehensive benefits package that promotes associates' well-being and security. Drivers receive paid vacation and holidays starting from day one, generous retirement benefits, and excellent healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans. Additional benefits include short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D coverage, company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, an employee discount program, driver referral bonuses of up to $5000, safety incentive programs, and a Premier Driver Recognition Program. This comprehensive benefits plan is designed to keep employees and their families healthy, happy, and secure.

Penske Logistics is committed to equal opportunity employment and strives to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Applicants must meet specific physical and mental demands including visual and hearing capabilities, the ability to frequently move and lift up to 50 pounds, and sometimes up to 100 pounds, as well as safely operating motor vehicles and entering/exiting vehicles safely. The selected candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL license, be domiciled and licensed in their state of residence within the U.S., possess a valid non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, and have documented tractor-trailer experience within specified time frames.

Penske invites professional drivers who value working with a nationwide, stable company recognized for its great equipment, strong management, and excellent safety record to apply. Weekly paychecks reinforce the company’s commitment to rewarding hard work on a consistent basis. If you're ready to advance your truck-driving career, join Penske Logistics and become part of a team that moves not only freight but also your career forward with extensive opportunities for training and relocation across various U.S. locations.
