Job Description
Penske Logistics is a leading global transportation and logistics company known for delivering innovative and efficient supply chain solutions. Operating across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics specializes in state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management services that help market-leading companies improve their supply chain visibility and reduce costs. With a strong reputation for reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction, Penske Logistics is committed to supporting the growth and success of its clients through advanced logistics technology and a dedicated workforce.
This job opportunity is for full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers at Penske Logistics. This position offers an average annual salary of $90,000 and includes a driver referral bonus program that can earn you up to $5,000 per referral. The role requires a high level of travel, with up to 100 percent regional travel to work at various locations as assigned. Drivers will be responsible for delivering parts and supplies to automotive dealerships through multi-stop deliveries using late-model, Penske-maintained trucks that are designed for comfort and safety. These trucks feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all personnel involved.
The schedule for this role varies based on dispatch assignments, with drivers traveling to their assigned locations and working from there for the duration of their assignments. Responsibilities include unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products as they are unloaded and delivered. Penske Logistics provides a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement benefits, excellent health care coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance. Employees also receive company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, access to an employee discount benefit program, a safety incentive program, and a premier driver recognition program.
Joining Penske means becoming part of a team of professional drivers who are committed to delivering products safely, on time, and with excellent customer service. You will represent both Penske and your clients, sometimes driving trucks and wearing uniforms branded by clients. Penske emphasizes career growth through training opportunities and offers the chance to work at various locations across the nation, providing mobility and stability in your career. With a focus on high-quality equipment, strong management, clear communication, and a stellar safety record, Penske stands out as a top choice for CDL Class A Truck Drivers. The company also offers consistent and timely pay, with payroll every Friday, ensuring financial stability for its associates.
If you are ready to take your truck-driving career to the next level and want to work with a respected nationwide company that values safety, professional development, and employee well-being, Penske Logistics might be the perfect fit for you.
