Established as a leader in the logistics industry, Penske is known for its strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction in freight transportation. The company's consistent focus on technological advancement and quality service has helped it build a solid reputation and a nationwide presence with operations that support businesses in moving forward efficiently and effectively.
Penske Logistics is currently offering immediate full-time opportunities for Class A CDL Truck Drivers, providing an excellent career path with a competitive average annual salary of $120,000. The position includes a new hourly pay rate and a $10,000 retention bonus, emphasizing the company's dedication to attracting and retaining skilled drivers. This role requires up to 100 percent travel regionally, serving various locations depending on the assignment, which highlights the dynamic and flexible nature of the work.
As a Class A CDL Truck Driver at Penske, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to dealerships. This role involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products during the unloading and delivery process to maintain accurate tracking. The schedule may vary with dispatch times and work assignments; drivers are expected to travel to assigned locations and work from those sites for the duration of their assignments. Drivers will operate late model trucks maintained by Penske, equipped with best-in-class specifications designed for maximum comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to promote safety for all.
The comprehensive benefits package at Penske Logistics reflects the company’s commitment to employee well-being and satisfaction. From day one, employees enjoy paid vacations and holidays, robust retirement plans, extensive health care coverage including medical, dental, and vision, in addition to short-term and long-term disability, life, and accident insurance. Penske also provides company-issued uniforms and safety footwear, along with an employee discount program, a driver referral bonus program offering up to $5,000 per referral, safety incentive programs, and a premier driver recognition program. These benefits foster a supportive work environment that values the health, security, and recognition of its drivers.
Choosing a career with Penske means joining a team of dedicated professional truck drivers committed not only to safe and timely deliveries but also to providing superior customer service and building strong relationships with clients. Drivers often represent not just Penske but also the brand identities of their clients, sometimes driving client-branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. Penske offers vast training opportunities, nationwide locations that allow for mobility and career growth, and an employer known for stable operations, top-tier equipment, transparent management, and outstanding safety records. Weekly pay on Fridays ensures financial reliability for employees. If you are ready to elevate your truck-driving career with a reputable company that prioritizes its driver’s needs and career progression, Penske Logistics is the place to be.
