Job Description
Penske Logistics is a global leader in providing advanced transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver superior business outcomes for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske is dedicated to helping businesses optimize their supply chains by enhancing visibility and reducing costs. The company is highly regarded for its commitment to safety, professional development, and customer service excellence, making it a preferred employer in the logistics industry.
Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join their team, offering an average annual salary of $120,000. This role is ideal for experienced and dedicated drivers who are ready to advance their careers by working with a reputable and stable company that emphasizes safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with top-notch safety features including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. This ensures a secure driving environment while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and comfort.
The role involves travelling regionally to various locations as required, with the possibility of being away from home for one to three weeks per assignment. Drivers will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages to unload trailers efficiently. Additionally, drivers will employ scanners to track and confirm deliveries accurately, supporting Penske’s commitment to precision and reliability.
Schedules can vary depending on work assignments, with dispatch times adjusting to meet operational needs. Drivers are expected to work at assigned locations throughout the duration of their assignments, ensuring consistent and dependable delivery services. Penske’s drivers are not only representatives of the company—they also embody the professionalism and dedication expected by their clients, often driving client-branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
Penske offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and holidays starting from day one, generous retirement benefits, and excellent health care coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additional benefits include short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, an employee discount program, and a lucrative driver referral bonus of up to $5,000 per referral. The company also promotes a safety incentive program and a Premier Driver Recognition Program to maintain and reward high standards of safety and performance.
As a Penske driver, individuals can expect ongoing training opportunities and the chance to work for a company known for its excellent equipment, great management, clear communication, and outstanding safety record. Penske values its drivers and ensures timely weekly pay every Friday to provide financial stability and peace of mind. If you are ready to elevate your truck-driving career with a company that supports your professional growth and values safety above all, Penske Logistics is the place for you.
