Employing a team of dedicated professionals, Penske Logistics continuously drives innovation to meet the growing demands of the logistics and transportation industry.
This job opening is for full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, operating under Penske Logistics LLC. Additionally, the hiring package includes a noteworthy $10,000 retention bonus incentivizing drivers to join and grow with the company. Candidates should expect travel requirements up to 100 percent, primarily regional, to various worksites supporting automotive dealership supply deliveries.
Truck drivers will be responsible for completing multi-stop deliveries efficiently and safely while ensuring the timely unloading of parts and supplies using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Drivers will utilize scanners to track and confirm product deliveries, maintaining accurate records essential for inventory control and client satisfaction. The work schedule varies based on dispatched assignments, and drivers will report to assigned locations to complete their respective tasks for the duration of the assignment. Drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks, which feature best-in-class specifications designed for optimal comfort and safety. These vehicles come equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to enhance security for drivers and other road users.
Penske Logistics provides its employees with a comprehensive benefits package that reflects its investment in the well-being and satisfaction of its workforce. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays starting day one, generous retirement plans, and excellent healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees also have access to short and long-term disability plans, life and AD&D insurance, company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, and an employee discount program. Additionally, there are incentives such as a driver referral bonus program that offers up to $5,000 per referral, a safety incentive program, and a premier driver recognition program that values and rewards exceptional performance.
Working at Penske means joining a stable nationwide company known for its great management, clear communication, and a stellar safety record. Penske truck drivers represent both the company and its clients, often driving branded vehicles and wearing client-specified uniforms, strengthening the relationship between transport and customer trust. The organization values skill development and career progression, offering extensive training opportunities and geographic mobility across its many national locations.
