We are currently offering immediate full-time opportunities for Class A CDL Truck Drivers, with an average annual salary of $120,000. This position demands regional travel that may reach up to 100 percent, allowing drivers to work at various locations as assignments require. As a Class A CDL Truck Driver with Penske, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Your duties will include handling multi-stop deliveries, unloading trailers with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and using scanners to accurately track products delivered. You will operate late-model trucks maintained by Penske with best-in-class specifications designed for comfort and safety. These vehicles are also equipped with both inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to promote safety for all.

The schedule for this role varies by assignment, with drivers typically away from home for one to three weeks at a time, working at the assigned location for the duration of the assignment. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Class A CDL license
  • domicile in the U.S.
  • interstate DOT medical card
  • 1-2 years tractor-trailer driving experience
  • clean driving record
  • English proficiency
  • ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • physical ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally 100lbs
  • ability to operate motor vehicle safely
  • willingness to travel extensively
  • compliance with federal transportation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • valid Class A CDL required
  • applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • English language proficiency
  • work required schedule and location
  • completed employment application
  • passed background investigation including past employment, education, and criminal history
  • passed drug screening
  • ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
  • responsible for personal and others safety

Job Duties
