Job Description
Penske Logistics is a leading transportation and logistics company known for engineering innovative transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver significant business results for market-leading clients around the globe. Operating across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics focuses on increasing supply-chain visibility while driving down costs, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery services for its customers. The company prides itself on professional management, industry-leading equipment, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. As part of a stable and nationwide enterprise, employees enjoy comprehensive training opportunities, career mobility, and a supportive work environment dedicated to excellence and continuous growth.
Currently, Penske Logistics is offering immediate full-time employment opportunities for Class A CDL Truck Drivers. These positions come with an average annual salary of around $120,000, reflecting the company's recognition of the value and skills of experienced drivers. The role involves significant travel, with assignments potentially requiring up to 100 percent travel away from home, sometimes for one to three weeks per assignment. Drivers in this position will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with advanced safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to promote safe driving practices.
As a CDL Class A Truck Driver at Penske, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies primarily to automotive dealerships. The role requires manual unloading of trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, along with product scanning to maintain accurate delivery records. Dispatch times and schedules are variable depending on the assignments, and drivers work at various regional locations during the duration of each assignment. Penske provides a robust comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and holidays starting day one, generous retirement benefits, excellent healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision), and life and disability insurance options.
Additional incentives include a driver referral bonus program offering up to $5000 per referral, a safety incentive program, and a premier driver recognition program. Employees also receive company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, access to an employee discount benefit program, and the security of working with a well-respected organization that pays every Friday. This role emphasizes both the pride of professional driving and exceptional customer service, representing both Penske and its clients with the utmost professionalism.
