Job Description
Penske Logistics is a premier transportation and logistics company known for delivering exceptional freight management and supply chain solutions across the globe. With a strong presence in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics engineers advanced transportation, warehousing, and freight solutions that help businesses increase visibility, reduce costs, and drive operational efficiency. As an employer, Penske Logistics is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment, promoting safety, and providing comprehensive benefits to its associates. The company boasts a vast network and handles freight for some of the world’s leading brands, making it a respected name in the logistics industry.
Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join their dynamic team. This opportunity offers a competitive annual earning potential of up to $110,000, complemented by a $10,000 retention bonus and a generous driver referral bonus program of up to $5,000 per referral. The role requires regional travel, potentially up to 100 percent of the time, allowing drivers to work at various locations as assignments demand. This position is perfect for professional truck drivers who are committed to safety, customer service, and supporting the logistics supply chain effectively.
In this role, drivers will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies primarily to automotive dealerships. Responsibilities include unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and using scanners to scan products upon delivery. The schedule varies depending on the assignment, with drivers expecting to be away from home for one to three weeks per assignment. Drivers will travel to an assigned location and work from there for the duration of the assignment.
Drivers will operate late model trucks maintained by Penske, which feature best-in-class specifications designed for comfort and safety. These trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for both drivers and the freight. Penske places a strong emphasis on safety, operational excellence, and driver recognition through incentive programs.
The compensation package includes comprehensive benefits such as paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, excellent healthcare coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance. Additionally, the company provides uniforms and safety footwear, employee discount programs, and engages drivers in various reward and referral bonus programs.
Penske’s commitment extends beyond providing a job; it’s about building a career. With exceptional management, clear communication, industry-leading equipment, and ongoing training opportunities, drivers can progress and expand their professional trucking careers nationally. Penske is an equal opportunity employer, promoting inclusivity and accommodation for individuals with disabilities, ensuring everyone has the chance to succeed and grow within the company.
