The company values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace culture that celebrates unique backgrounds and encourages collaboration among a diverse population of employees worldwide. Marriott’s headquarters is located in Bethesda, Maryland, and embraces a hybrid work environment for certain roles, which supports flexibility and connection within its teams.
This Senior Manager, Lifecycle, Loyalty & Promotions Marketing position presents a compelling opportunity within Marriott’s sales and marketing team. This full-time, management-level role is primarily stationed at the Bethesda, Maryland location, although candidates situated outside the commuting area may be considered for remote work arrangements. With a pay range of $53.07 to $75.96 per hour, this temporary position emphasizes strategic influence across the entire customer lifecycle, with a core responsibility to support special projects that enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and overall lifetime value.
The Senior Manager will be expected to maintain an in-depth understanding of customer behavior at every lifecycle stage. This knowledge will empower the successful candidate to offer insightful recommendations and identify emerging opportunities to improve the brand’s engagement strategies. Collaborating closely with cross-discipline teams, the Senior Manager will convert complex business objectives into actionable marketing plans that drive cohesive and effective lifecycle marketing solutions. This role is critical in driving the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of loyalty and promotional campaigns, ensuring a seamless integration of creative updates and operational readiness across multiple channels.
Project management stands as a vital skill in this capacity. The candidate will be tasked with managing multiple workstreams, coordinating timelines, and aligning stakeholder expectations and resources to advance projects from initial intake through launch and post-launch analysis. Key activities include developing and maintaining a detailed creative update strategy and roadmap, staging refreshes to balance customer experience with channel capacity and business priorities, and closely reviewing marketing materials to ensure brand consistency and relevance. This role requires close cooperation with analytics, marketing technology, and agency teams to facilitate campaign launches, quality assurance, and ongoing campaign refinements.
By supporting comprehensive reporting efforts, the Senior Manager will track critical performance indicators, analyze results, and share learnings that inform future campaign improvements and roadmap adjustments. Effective risk management and timely communication of challenges or decision points to leadership are also essential to ensure smooth project execution. Marriott values and actively supports its associates, offering a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, and parental leave, alongside other perks such as 401(k), stock purchase plans, commuter and childcare benefits.
This role not only advances Marriott’s marketing capabilities but also contributes to the company’s overarching mission to create memorable experiences for guests while fostering a supportive and inspiring workplace for associates.
