This job opening is for a FLEX Senior Manager, Future Property Management Systems (PMS) position within Marriott's Global Operations organization. This temporary, full-time management role is offered with a pay range of $48.26 to $57.93 per hour. The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager is to provide operational expertise and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on future PMS development and implementation. The systems involved include OPERA Cloud PMS, Single Pane of Glass (SPOG), Stay PMS, Auto Room Assignment (ARA), and Guest Experience Platform (GXP).

The FLEX Senior Manager will be instrumental in shaping the future PMS strategy by contributing to design, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support stages. The role demands collaboration with diverse international teams, supporting global systems and operational processes, which highlights the importance of experience working across cultural and geographic boundaries. Core tasks include acceptance test scenario development, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management through tools like Jira, deployment support, as well as learning and development centered on end-user training and material creation.

Key activities include detailed business analysis to translate current and future business needs into system requirements, managing risk and defect resolution, and fostering stakeholder collaboration to ensure solutions align with operational goals. The Senior Manager will also ensure high standards in testing quality and documentation, leveraging management tools such as Zephyr and TestRail to track testing progress and outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of five years experience with hotel property management systems like OPERA, Lightspeed, FSPMS, or FOSSE. Preference will be given to candidates with prior hospitality leadership experience and familiarity with Marriott’s ecosystem of property management and reservation systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum 5 years relevant PMS experience
  • proficiency in OPERA and similar PMS software
  • experience in user acceptance testing and defect management
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment
  • familiarity with Jira and test management tools

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years hotel property management systems experience including OPERA, Lightspeed, FSPMS, or FOSSE
  • experience with international teams and global systems preferred
